Union Savings Bank To Open New Branch, Advice Center In Norwalk
Union Savings Bank will be opening a new full-service branch and advice center on Main Avenue in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT — Union Savings Bank CEO Cynthia C. Merkle announced this week a new full-service branch and advice center will be opening in Norwalk this spring.
Located at 454 Main Avenue, the new office will be supported by the bank's solutions teams, a group of local specialists that offer customized personal and business banking solutions.

This additional office will bring the total number of USB locations to 25, according to a news release provided by the bank.
"We're excited to open our newest Union Savings Bank location in Norwalk," Merkle said in a news release. "With this advice center approach, the focus is on building relationships by meeting the unique needs of the customer. Customers will enjoy the services you'd expect from a larger bank with the convenience of local face-to-face service. Expanding our presence to Norwalk will also enable us to contribute to this vibrant community in personal and significant ways."

Union Savings Bank solutions teams are specifically designed to be a one-stop, multidisciplinary group of banking representatives that provide comprehensive banking services and help customers achieve their personal and business financial goals.
The Norwalk solutions team is comprised of financial professionals from branch banking, commercial services, business banking, wealth management, residential lending and treasury services. A 24-hour walk-up ATM will also be available at the Norwalk location.
Union Savings Bank has seen success with solutions teams at other local branches in Canton, Monroe, Ridgefield and Southbury, bank officials said.
According to Merkle, customers utilizing the solutions teams are not just assigned one contact; they receive a full team of experts who work together to find creative and holistic solutions to their specific business and personal banking needs.
"Our commitment to customers and the Norwalk community doesn’t stop with the opening of a new branch, however," Merkle said. "The Union Savings Bank Foundation is now accepting grant applications from area non-profits through May 1 and we also plan to expand our Teachers' Closetprogram, which provides supplies to students at schools in the communities we serve. Ultimately the bank and the USB Foundation are committed to making a positive impact on the community in terms of financial wellness, business success and by supporting non-profit organizations that provide programs that educate and enrich the communities we serve."
