United Church Of Rowayton Announces New Pastor

NORWALK, CT — The United Church of Rowayton announced last week Rev. Sal Sapienza has been unanimously chosen to serve as its new pastor.
According to a news release provided by the church, Sapienza is only the third settled pastor in the church's 77-year history.

A New York City native, Sapienza spent the past 10 years as the senior pastor of Douglas United Church of Christ in Michigan, where the congregation's membership quadrupled during his tenure.
His sermon videos have amassed more than half-a-million views on YouTube, according to the church.

A graduate of New York University and All Faiths Seminary, Sapienza is also the author of "Mychal's Prayer: Praying with Father Mychal Judge" and "Childish Thinking: How the Church Keeps Us Stuck in Sunday School."
