United Church of Rowayton Hosts Giant Tag Sale
The church will be taking donations for the Giant Tag Sale that will benefit 22 community agencies the church assists.

From United Church of Rowayton: The United Church of Rowayton is looking for donations for its June 3 Giant Tag Sale. Donations can be dropped off May 29-31 at the church Meeting House, 210 Rowayton Ave. Kris Jenkins, event organizer, said, “Here is a chance to get rid of all the unused items around your house.”
Typical donations are furniture, small appliances, china, plates, flatware, bowls, glassware, housewares, garden tools, sporting goods, bikes, toys, electronics, flat screen TVs, jewelry, artwork, linens, baby equipment, bric-a-brac, handbags, china and gently worn ladies clothing.
“New merchandise you never got around to using is always welcome,” said Kris.

“Some items we can’t handle,” she said.
Unacceptable are books, records, magazines, computers and peripherals, holiday items, mattresses, box springs, exercise machines, weights and weight benches, upholstered furniture, metal office equipment, building materials, stuffed animals, board games and jigsaw puzzles.

Donation drop-off hours are May 29, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and May 30 & 31, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., at the church Meeting House.

Proceeds from the tag sale help support 22 community agencies the church assists through its Board of Christian Outreach program.
