NORWALK, CT — A winning scratch-off ticket worth $50,000 was recently sold in Norwalk, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

Juan Castro Hernandez, of Stamford, won the big prize after playing the scratch-off game Royal Treasure. The ticket cost just $10, and the grand prize is $100,000.

Hernandez purchased the winning ticket at The Brothers MJ Grocery, located at 9 Bouton St., in Norwalk.
