Wires Downed After Truck Strikes Pole In Norwalk: Report

Police said possibly live wires draped parts of the truck after it struck a pole in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT — Police said the driver and passenger of a semitractor-trailer were instructed to stay inside their vehicle after striking a pole Tuesday afternoon on Muller Avenue, the Norwalk Hour reports.

According to the Hour, possibly live wires draped parts of the truck after it hit the pole, and both occupants were instructed to wait inside the truck until utility workers arrived to shut off power to the wires. Both the driver and the passenger were subsequently removed from the truck without injury.
