Woman Accused Of Stabbing Man In Thigh In Norwalk: Cops

Police were called to a Norwalk parking lot on Friday after receiving a report of a domestic violence incident, authorities said.

NORWALK, CT — A 49-year-old Seymour woman was arrested Friday afternoon after police said she stabbed a man in the thigh during a domestic violence situation in Norwalk.

According to Norwalk police, the incident happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. in a parking lot at 385 Connecticut Ave. When officers arrived at the location, they discovered a man had been stabbed in his left thigh while sitting in a vehicle with the suspect, who fled after the incident.

The man was taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment, police said.

After a search for the suspect, detectives located the woman and arrested her, police said. She was charged with first-degree assault and was being held on a $500,000 bond, according to authorities.
