Woman Hit by Train Overnight in South Norwalk
The woman appears to have been in her mid-20s to 30s, according to one report.

A woman was hit by a train on the New Haven Line tracks south of the South Norwalk Metro-North Railroad Station on Monday, sometime around 12:30 a.m., according to a report on WFSB-TV, Channel 3.
The Hour of Norwalk reports that the death is a suspected suicide. The victim’s name has not yet been released. Authorities are still trying to identify the victim, who appears to have been in her mid-20s to 30s, the newspaper reported.
The woman was struck by the train on the tracks near Wilbur and Boughton streets, according to WFSB. The body was found at 1:30 a.m. (according to WFSB) or at about 2 a.m. (according to The Hour). The engineer running the train at first thought it might have hit debris on the track.

The train, which was headed from Grand Central Terminal toward the South Norwalk station, stopped, but nothing was found at that time, according to WFSB.
