Woman Seriously Injured In Norwalk Assault: Report
The attack allegedly occurred early Monday morning.

NORWALK, CT — A woman suffered serious, but non-life threatening, injuries in an early Monday morning assault allegedly at the hands of her boyfriend, reports The Hour.
According to Norwalk police, 27-year-old Norwalk resident Giovanny Nicolas allegedly struck the woman in the face multiple times during an argument in a Belden Street apartment over a message on the woman's cell phone.
The woman was treated at Norwalk Hospital, but whether she has been released was not immediately known.

Nicolas was charged with second-degree assault, interfering with an officer, disorderly conduct and larceny.
