Workers At 3 Norwalk Shops Sold Vaping Products To Minors: Police

The workers are accused of selling vaping and nicotine products to minors, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — Workers at three Norwalk businesses were cited by authorities last week on a charge of sale of "electronic nicotine to a minor" following an investigation by the Norwalk Police Department Special Services Division.

In recent months, the department had "received numerous complaints from concerned Norwalk parents regarding the sale of vape/nicotine products to their children," which prompted compliance checks of shops on Dec. 30, Norwalk police said.

In the investigation, police used "cooperating minors" to assist officers.
