2 Killed, 1 Critically Injured In Tragic New London County Crash
The identities of those involved in the double fatal crash have just been released.

NORWICH, CT — Tragic news to share this afternoon. An elderly Uncasville couple, John Adams, 85, and Joan Adams, 79, were killed when their car ended up veering off the southbound side of Interstate 395 and into the northbound side of the highway, NBC Connecticut reports.
Their vehicle struck another car, rolled over and was hit by an oncoming minivan, NBC CT reports. Amber Nicole Castle, 23, of Norwich was critically injured in the crash.
John Adams was driving a 2006 Buick Lucerne at the time of the accident, the New London Day reports. Castle's vehicle, a 2011 Toyota Corolla, was struck by Adams' vehicle, the Day reports.

At the time of the accident, State Police said it occurred at 6:32 p.m. Saturday. This occurred in the Norwich area of Interstate 395. Both the northbound and southbound travel lanes were shut down between exits 14-18 for hours.
The accident is under investigation.
