2 Stabbed In Overnight Attacks In Norwich: Police
Both victims were men who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
NORWICH, CT — Two men suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds in overnight attacks, according to police.
Sgt. Peter Karasuk said police received a 911 call around 11 p.m. Thursday night reporting a wounded man in the area of Washington Street.
Police found the victim, who had two lacerations to an upper extremity. Police determined the victim was assaulted on Main Street in the area of Broadway, and they located and secured the crime scene.

Around 1 a.m. on Friday, while detectives were still processing the initial crime scene, a different man approached them asking for help, police said.
This second man reported he had been assaulted on Clairmont Street, and he suffered a laceration to his hand, according to police.

Police said they located a second crime scene in the area of 9 Clairmont St.
According to police, they believe both incidents were targeted attacks.
“There is no known threat to the general public,” police said.
An investigation into both incidents is ongoing.
