5 Charged In Liquor Store Compliance Checks In Norwich: Police
Norwich police said five individuals have been charged with selling alcohol to a minor following liquor store compliance investigations.

NORWICH, CT - Police said five individuals have been charged with selling alcohol to a minor, the New London Day reported. The charges stem from previously announced liquor store compliance investigations.
Police said five stores sold alcohol to minors this year, according to the New London Day. Compliance checks were conducted by the Norwich Police Department Community Policing Unit on Thursday, June 15. (To sign up for Norwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Police said four trained minor undercover decoys were sent to purchase alcohol at various stores, the New London Day reported. The charged establishments will face possible license/permit sanctions from the state Department of Consumer Protection-Division of Liquor Control.
