• Firefighters Treated For Exertion After Extinguishing Blaze At Norwich Duplex: FD (patch.com) — Norwich residents are learning more about a serious duplex fire on North 3rd Avenue that caused extensive damage Thursday night and forced firefighters to battle flames spreading from the first floor up the rear of the building. Several firefighters were evaluated on scene for exertion, and the Norwich Fire Marshal’s Office is now investigating what sparked the blaze.
