Road Closure, Detour Planned Due To Utility Work In Norwich

The work is needed for an elementary school construction project, according to the city.

NORWICH, CT — Motorists can expect to encounter a local road closure and traffic detour on July 14.

Boswell Avenue will be closed to all traffic other than local traffic, from the Hickory Street intersection to the Mohegan Park Road intersection on Tuesday, July 14 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Traffic will be detoured through Mohegan Park Road and North Street.

The temporary traffic changes are due to utility work for the Greeneville Elementary School Construction Project, according to the city.
