NORWICH, CT — D'elia's Bakery & Grinder Shop in Norwich is temporarily closed due to a fire.
The deli posted the following on Facebook on Sunday: "Unfortunately we had an electrical fire in our bakery yesterday. We will be temporarily closed until further notice. We are so sorry & will do our best to update as we know more."
The post garnered over 200 reactions and 55 comments.
The shop reopened in 2024 after closing the previous year when its own suffered an injury.

D'elia's is located at 272 Franklin St. and has been around for nearly a century.
