Armed Robber Hits Norwich Gas Station: Report
An armed robbery was reported at a Norwich gas station Tuesday morning.
NORWICH, CT — Police responded to an armed robbery at a gas station in Norwich shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday, WTNH News-8 reported. A clerk from the Shell Xtra Mart Gas Station on West Main Street told emergency dispatchers that a man entered the store with a gun and demanded cash from the register.
The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot, according to WTNH News-8.
