Dada Post USA 

(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. Dada Post USA will continue in this inspiration. In 2022 Howard McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. NORWICH, CT — Police say they seized six illegally operated motorized bikes and issued nine citations to operators during an enforcement effort this week. Lt. Kyle Besse said the effort was in response to a recent surge of illegally operated all-terrain vehicles, dirt bikes, scooters and mini bikes. Local police conducted the operation Thursday with assistance from the Connecticut State Police. According to Besse, police focused on identifying illegally operated motorized bikes and addressing violations which could pose a safety risk to operators, pedestrians and motorists. "Illegal operation of motorized bikes and similar vehicles can lead to serious crashes, injuries, and unnecessary risks for everyone sharing our roadways," police said. Police reminded residents to make sure their vehicles are legal for use on the road. The department also encouraged parents and guardians to closely monitor children's use of motorized bikes, minibikes, dirt bikes, and similar vehicles to make sure they are being used legally and in appropriate locations.
