Burglar Steals Christmas, Norwich Police Officer Saves it for 3-Year Old
A police officer stepped in to help after a mother reported her daughter's presents stolen from under their tree.

NORWICH, CT - A Norwich police officer stepped in to help after Christmas gifts were stolen from a Central Avenue home Wednesday, according to The Day.
The victim Bianca Arroyo said she and her daughter returned home that evening from the park to find all their wrapped presents taken from under the Christmas tree, according to The Day. She called police, distraught that her daughter’s Christmas was ruined.
Norwich police officer Mario Castro took it upon himself to go out to a Tommy Toy Fund location that was distributing toys, The Day reported. The officer brought back a handful of toys and a new bike for the child, ensuring that no Grinch would steal her Christmas.
