Cocaine, Cash Seized In Norwich Arrest: Police

The suspect, who was out on bail in connection with other charges, was apprehended in his apartment on Dec. 6.

NORWICH, CT — A Norwich man was arrested on narcotics charges on Dec. 6 following a Norwich police and FBI raid at his Wawecus Hill Road apartment, according a post on the department's Facebook page.

During the raid, authorities confiscated "cocaine, crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, cutting agents, two cellular phones, and over $3,500 in cash," wrote Norwich police.

Arrested was Dennis Foster, who was already out on $200,000 in bonds from previous drug and assault cases. In the Dec. 6 instance, Foster was charged with two counts of sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, two counts of risk of injury to a minor, and operating a drug factory.

He was held on a new combined $300,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Dec. 7.
