The WPTP Junior Football League paid tribute to Tyshon in a Facebook post, stating that he was "a standout athlete any coach would love to have."

"If you ever played with/against Tyshon or even just been a spectator at one of his games, you certainly would have heard, 'LET'S GO CHUBBY' coming loud and often from his mother Jamie after every play, big or small, and there were a lot! Jamie was her kid's biggest fan and always showed unwavering support for all her 'babies,'" the post reads.
