(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. Connecticut State Police issued a warning Monday afternoon about a pair of twin brothers deemed armed and dangerous.  Authorities are attempting to locate Vince Rollins and Vance Coffin, both 50, originally of Norwich. The two are wanted for their suspected involvement in a Canterbury bank robbery on Sept. 23.  Rollins and Coffin were last known to be driving a black 2000 Chevy Tahoe, which police said was used in the robbery. They are believed to still be in the southeastern region of the state.   "If located, please alert police immediately by calling 911," police said in a news release. "Do not confront or attempt to detain these individuals, as they are considered armed and dangerous."  Anyone with information on the location of the two is also urged to contact Troop D in Danielson at (860)-779-4900 or anonymously text Tip711 with the information to 274637.
