Hartford Man ID'd As Norwich Burglary Suspect Killed In Cop Chase

NORWICH, CT — A 39-year-old Hartford man has been identified by state police as the Norwich burglary suspect who was killed by authorities during a multi-town chase Wednesday morning, reports The Day.

Kyron Marcell Sands traded gunfire with police during the chase, which stretched from Norwich to Windham, and he was struck in the abdomen with at least one bullet from an officer.

No other injuries were reported in the incident, which led to the temporary shutdown of several streets during the subsequent investigation.
