Historic Norwich Factory Does Not Sell at Auction
A 100-year old cardboard manufacturing plant ceased operations in October did not receive any bids at an auction.

NORWICH, CT – A historic former Norwich cardboard factory failed to sell at an auction Wednesday morning, The Day reported.
Atlantic Packaging Corp. is a 10-building mill complex off North Main Street, according to The Day. The 100-year old cardboard manufacturing plant ceased operations in October.
The bidding was opened at $1 million, but three bidders with qualifying deposit checks did not bite, The Day reported. A bid for $200,000 was offered, however it was turned down by the auctioneer in the interest of the property owners.
