Hotel Anticipated To Open In Norwich This Year: Report

A hotel is expected to open this year in a historic Norwich building.

NORWICH, CT — The Hotel Chelsea is expected to open by the end of the year in a nearly 200-year-old building, The Norwich Bulletin reported. The hotel will occupy the former Elks Club and have 24 rooms starting at $100 per night.

The hotel will retain historic features like winding staircases, detailed molding, and fireplaces with marble mantels in some rooms. The hotel is looking to attract a clientele of visitors to the casinos and Preston Riverwalk.
