ID Released In Norwich Human Remains Case
Human remains found in a box truck last month have been identified, according to police.

NORWICH, CT — Police have identified the human remains found in a box truck in Norwich last month.
The remains were identified as William A. Henneforth, 54.
Henneforth, who was last known to be homeless, was reported missing Oct. 15.

Police received a call at 2:45 p.m. March 3 reporting the discovery of possible human remains. The discovery was made inside a box truck on a commercial property at 267 N. Main St. Police responded and confirmed the remains were human.
The chief medical examiner assisted with the investigation and made the identification following an autopsy and DNA examination.
