Intoxicated Norwich Man Drives into Crime Scene
The man drove past a cruiser and right into the scene of a crime, creating a new one.
A Norwich man was present at the scene of a crime Monday night, but not by the will of police.
An intoxicated Daniel Bartenstein drove his car past a cruiser and traffic cones into a blocked off area, where police were investigating a crash from earlier that day, The Day reported. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Bartenstein was stopped by police before he was able to hit any investigating officers, according to The Day. The crash being investigated was reportedly between a motorcycle and a passenger van, which closed off the road for about three hours.
