Man Accused Of Pistol-Whipping Woman In Norwich: Report

A man is facing charges and was held on $2 million bond on allegations that he struck a woman with a gun.

NORWICH, CT — A Norwich man is facing accusations that he struck a woman with a handgun, according to WTNH News-8. Police responded to a report of a domestic assault at about 10:30 p.m. Friday.

The victim suffered severe facial injuries. She was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition.

The man accused in the case was charged with first-degree attempted assault, second-degree assault, possession of a firearm, theft of a firearm, cruelty to persons, risk of injury to a minor, carrying a pistol without a permit, and disorderly conduct. He is also accused of violating his probation.
