Man Attempts Escape from Norwich Police While Handcuffed
Police said a man arrested on a number of charges attempted to flee while handcuffed.
NORWICH, CT – Police said a man attempted to flee police custody while handcuffed Wednesday after being arrested on a number of charges, The Day reported.
Jon C. Johnson, 20, was arrested on a warrant in a domestic violence incident with a number of charges, according to The Day. The Greenville resident the attempted to flee on foot while handcuffed behind his back.
He was additionally charged with escape from custody and interfering with police, The Day reported. Police said there were no injuries in the incident.
