Man Charged In Norwich Shooting Spree: Report

A man has been charged in connection with a shooting incident in Norwich.

NORWICH, CT — A man has been charged in connection with a shooting spree on McKinley Avenue in Norwich, according to The New London Day. Daniel W. Torres, 36, of Willimantic, was charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment, attempted first-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, second-degree criminal mischief, and criminal possession of a firearm.

Police said the shooting occurred after a domestic dispute with Torres' ex-girlfriend.

Torres was arraigned in Norwich Superior Court and held on $500,000 bond.
