Man Died In Norwich Police Custody Due To Drug Overdose: Report
A man died from a drug overdose nearly five months ago in Norwich police custody, according to a report.

NORWICH, CT โ A man who died while in Norwich police custody earlier this year died due to a fentanyl overdose, according to The Norwich Bulletin. The cause of death was determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Brenton Chambers, 42, was arrested Feb. 3 when police said he was found him in possession of a handgun and "a quantity of heroin/fentanyl which was prepackaged for sale."
Chambers's body also showed signs of recent cocaine use, and his death was ruled accidental.
