Man Dies In Norwich House Fire: Reports

A man has died following a house fire in Norwich on Tuesday morning.

NORWICH, CT — A man died in a house fire in Norwich on Tuesday. Firefighters were called to a Central Avenue home around 7:50 a.m. and arrived within three minutes, WFSB 3-TV reported.

The home included two apartments, one on the first floor and another on the second floor. The man was found on the second floor, according to WFSB 3-TV.

The fire at 199 Central Ave. was extinguished but the area will be closed for the remainder of the day, WTNH News-8 reported.
