Man Found Dead Under Collapsed Mobile Home In Norwich

NORWICH, CT — A man was found dead under a collapsed section of a mobile home in Norwich, according to The New London Day. The man was found Tuesday at the Little Valley Mobile Village at 303 Mohegan Park Road.

Taftville Fire Co. #2 was dispatched at 6:20 p.m. to assist police, who had been dispatched to check on the well-being of a resident, according to a fire company Facebook post.

Officers found "the deceased resident, who was trapped in a structural collapse under a mobile home." Crews worked together to remove the deceased from the debris.

The Norwich Building official condemned the structure, according to Taftville Fire.

Norwich police and the state Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the case.
