Man Pleads Guilty In 2018 Death Of Norwich Man: Report

A Colchester man pleaded guilty to charges that he was responsible for the death of a Norwich man in October 2018.

NORWICH, CT — A Colchester man pleaded guilty to charges in New London Superior Court on Thursday that he is responsible for the death of a Norwich man in October 2018, according to The Norwich Bulletin.

Elmar Baker, 42, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the death of Joseph "Jo Jo" Kolodnicki, 42, a postal worker and artist whose work was displayed in a range of venues in Norwich.

Baker will be sentenced to 17 years in prison early next year.
