Man Sentenced In Norwich Slashing Case: Report

A Preston man will serve seven years in prison for severely slashing a man's face in a 2020 assault, according to a report.

NORWICH, CT — A man was sentenced to seven years in prison for slashing a man's face in a Norwich attack in 2020, according to The Norwich Bulletin. Daron Henry, 29, of Preston, will also serve 10 years of special parole on the first-degree assault charge.

The attack occurred Jan. 7, 2020, when police were dispatched to a Main Street storefront on a report of a stabbing. The victim was cut from nose to jaw line, and it took more than 20 sutures to close the wound.
