Man Shot Outside Norwich Bar: Police

A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Norwich on Wednesday night.

NORWICH, CT — A man was shot outside Pistol Pete's Bar and Grill on Wednesday night, according to WTNH News-8. Police responded to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital at 12:04 a.m. Thursday due to a report of a gunshot wound victim.

The victim, who was shot in the arm, told police he was shot at Norwich at Pistol Pete's Bar and Grill on Wednesday night. A police investigation found that the shooting followed an altercation outside the bar, WTNH reported.

The suspect fled the scene following the shooting. The victim was later released from the hospital.
