Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Griswold Crash: State Police
A man was ejected from his motorcycle following a crash with a pickup truck.

GRISWOLD, CT — A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash with a pickup truck on Saturday, according to state police.
The crash occurred at about 12:30 p.m. in the area of 1089 Hopeville Road in Griswold.
A black Suzuki motorcycle was traveling south on Hopeville Road. A Nissan Titan was at the top of a driveway waiting to turn left onto Hopeville Road.

When the pickup began to turn, the motorcycle struck its left side. The motorcyclist, a Jewett City man, was "separated from the vehicle" and landed a short distance away, state police said.
He was taken to William Backus Hospital in Norwich for treatment of serious injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the crash.
