New Recreation Director Starts In Norwich: Report
The position is finally filled after four years.

NORWICH, CT — The city's new Recreation Director, Cheryl Hancin Preston, started this week, marking the first time the position has been filled in four years, reports The Day.
Preston, who grew up in Norwich, has a master's in sports and recreational management from Florida International University, and and MBA from the University of Hartford, according to the publication.
Currently, the position is part time, with the plan to make it a full-time job next year.
