NFA Students Named To Spanish National Honor Society

From Norwich Free Academy: Norwich Free Academy inducted 43 new members (4 members of the Class of 2019) and (39 members of the Class of 2020) of the Robert G. Meade Chapter of the Spanish National Honor Society at a ceremony, May 14, in Slater Auditorium. World Language Teacher and Chapter Adviser, Rachel Mandeville, welcomed honorees, their family, friends, and faculty, and Ashley Lawton ‘19, Chapter President, and delivered the Chapter History.

Five members reviewed the four pillars of the Spanish National Honor Society for inductees by delivering speeches about the qualities of the organization. Treasurer Isabelle Sawicki spoke about Leadership; Social Chair Brooke Rondeau ‘19 talked about Character; Eliana ‘19 reflected upon Scholarship, Social Chair Mikaylah Mejias, addressed Service, and Chapter President Ashley Lawton spoke about Integrity. Rondeau read the organization’s poem, and Sawicki administered the oath.
