Norwich Man Accused of Murder, Arson Found Incompetent to Stand Trial: Report
The suspect has been ruled incompetent to stand trial and committed to a state hospital.

NORWICH, CT – A man accused of murder and arson has been found incompetent to stand trial, The Day reported
Patrick Antoine, 39, was committed to the Connecticut Valley Hospital on Tuesday for 60 days after the decision, according to The Day. He has been charged with murdering his wife and unborn baby before setting their apartment on fire and turning himself into the police.
The suspect was evaluated at the Garner Correctional Institution by a clinical team, The Day reported. The team believes Antoine can be restored to competency after being treated at the hospital and re-evaluated.
