Norwich Man Charged with Assault that Resulted in Roommate's Coma, Amputation
A man called police about his roommate's attempted suicide, but is now charged with assaulting him.

NORWICH, CT - A Norwich man who had contacted 911 about his roommate’s attempted suicide is now charged with beating him, Fox 61 reported.
Kristopher Prudhomme, 28, had called police October 27 to report his roommate being injured from what he thought was a suicide attempt, according to Fox 61. He is now charged with causing those injuries.
The 35-year old victim has was initially found incoherent by medical responders with red marks on his neck, Fox 61 reported. He had to have both legs amputated and was in a medically-induced coma for several days following the incident.
