(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. NORWICH, CT — Connecticut State Police Detectives are asking for the public's help in finding Norwich resident Kenneth Reed, who disappeared on March 24, 1989, in what authorities are referring to as Cold Case Missing Persons case."On March 24th, 1989, Kenneth Reed DOB: 07-31-64 was last seen at his parents' house on 20 Forest St. Norwich, CT," wrote state police in a release. "Kenneth Reed is a white male, brown eyes and brown hair. Reed's vehicle was located in his parents' driveway and he has not been seen since."Detectives are asking for the public's help with any information they may have on Reed's whereabouts. "Please contact Det. Cuoco at 860-896-3235, 860-896-3230. The public may also contact the Norwich Police at 860-886-5561, Ext-3156 or the State Police Tip-Line at 860-685-8190."
