Norwich PAC Formed To Support Democratic Board Of Education Candidates
A new Norwich political action committee will support Democratic candidates for the Board of Education.
NORWICH, CT - A new Norwich political action committee will support Democratic candidates for the Board of Education, the New London Day reported. The committee was directly formed to support the six candidates.
Officials said "Achieve Excellence for Norwich Students” has already raised $1,800 thus far, according to the New London Day. The committee will support six candidates who were endorsed by the Democratic Town Committee in July. The committee is similar to one formed in June to support Democratic City Council candidates, the New London Day reported. Though common in other towns, this is the first time local PACs are being used in Norwich.
