The work is being done with the help of a grant from federal Environmental Protection Agency.

NORWICH, CT — The city has received a grant of $384,000 from the federal Environmental Protection Agency to review Norwich's 143 brownfield sites and prioritize which ones should be cleaned up first, reports The Day.

Among the sites the Norwich Redevelopment Agency is considering as a top priority to be cleaned up is the
former Artform building in the Uncas Leap area, according to the publication.

The Redevelopment Agency is spearheading the review and has contracted with consulting firm Tighe & Bond to help do the work.
