(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. NORWICH, CT — A Norwich resident recently claimed a $50,000 Connecticut Lottery prize from a ticket sold in the city. According to the Connecticut Lottery, the winning $50,000 Cashword 2nd Edition scratch ticket was sold at Square Package Store in Norwich and claimed by a Norwich resident on Aug. 10. $50,000 Cashword 2nd Edition is a Connecticut Lottery scratch game. The Connecticut Lottery regularly publishes information about winning tickets and prize claims across the state. Players are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets and keep them in a safe place until they are claimed.

The 44th Annual WICC Surfside Hotel <a href="https://www.bluefishtournament.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Greatest Bluefish Tournament on Earth</a> returns to Long Island Sound on Saturday, August 29, with fishing officially beginning at 12:01 a.m. Anglers from Connecticut and New York will compete for bragging rights—and a $25,000 grand prize awarded to the tournament's largest bluefish.
The weekend-long tournament features more than $40,000 in total cash prizes, including:
<ul>
 <li>1st Place: $25,000</li>
 <li>2nd Place: $7,500</li>
 <li>3rd Place: $2,500</li>
 <li>Smaller cash prizes awarded through 20th Place</li>
 <li>Port Prizes awarded for the heaviest bluefish weighed at each official Connecticut and New York weigh station (see below for complete list of weigh stations)</li>
</ul>
Young anglers, 17 and under, will also have the chance to win big. The tournament will award a $1,000 cash prize to the largest bluefish caught by a youth angler. Second and third place youth winners will receive $100 gift cards.

The registration deadline is Friday, August 28, at 11:59 p.m. Registration is $36 per angler and is required to participate. Fishing begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, and concludes at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30.
Throughout the tournament weekend, WICC, 99.1 PLR, STAR 99.9, and WEBE108 will provide hourly leaderboard updates and tournament results.
