Norwich Restaurant Damaged In 2-Alarm Fire: Report
A fire was extinguished at a Norwich barbeque restaurant Wednesday night.
NORWICH, CT — A Norwich barbeque restaurant was damaged in a two-alarm fire Wednesday, The New London Day reported. The fire started inside a smoker at Uncle D's Blazin BBQ at 146 W. Town St.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find smoke pouring out of the building. The fire had extended to the kitchen and attic. Firefighters extinguished the blaze in about half an hour, with reports that it was under control by 9 p.m., according to The New London Day.
No injuries were reported.
