Norwich Woman Charged With Stealing From Disabled Client: Report
A Norwich woman has been charged with stealing more than $4,200 while she worked as a home health aide, according to a report.
NORWICH, CT — A Norwich woman has been charged with stealing more than $4,200 from a disabled Waterford man while she worked as a home health aide, according to The New London Day. Brianna Drayton, 28, was charged with four counts each of second-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny.
Drayton was working for Silver Slippers, a home healthcare company, when the alleged thefts occurred at the client's home. Drayton is accused of making fraudulent withdrawals using the victim's debit card in July 2021, according to The New London Day.
Drayton was held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Oct. 6.
