Police Conducting Alcohol Sales Compliance Checks In Norwich

Norwich police will be conducting alcohol sales compliance checks over the course of the next three months.

NORWICH, CT - Norwich police will be conducting alcohol sales compliance checks to see if any local establishments are selling alcohol to underage minors, the New London Day reported. The checks will take place over the course of the next three months.

Police will be partnering with the Norwich Prevention Council and the Norwich Youth and Family Services for the compliance checks, the New London Day reported. Police said nine out of 17 establishments sold alcohol to minor decoys in 2015, the New London Day reported. Only two out of 17 did the same in 2016.
