(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. Dada Post USA will continue in this inspiration. In 2022 Howard McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. NORWICH, CT — Agway, a locally owned pet supply store, announced <a href="https://www.facebook.com/norwichagway/posts/10159628865499687" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">it will close</a> April 30, according to a Facebook post from owner Steve Miller. "We have entered an agreement to sell our real estate, including the Storage Yard, and the Agway property," Muller wrote. "The new owners are experienced in the self-storage industry, and will continue operations of the Storage Yard." The store will be liquidating its inventory, equipment, and furniture, which will be sold at a discount. "It has been fun, challenging, rewarding, but mostly an honor to serve the community since 2001, when I became owner," Muller wrote. "We will miss everyone as we all begin new chapters in our lives. Mostly I want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your business, friendships, and understanding as the challenges of the past couple of years have presented themselves." The post received more than 350 reactions and 160 comments. One commenter wrote: "Thank you so much to all of you for your animal advocacy and allowing PAWS New England to have adoption events there. We will miss you!!"
