(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. A call to the community to celebrate yesterday, today and tomorrow. That was the message at the Rose Arts Festival which took place on Saturday, June 25 at the Chelsea Parade Park in downtown Norwich. The festival focused on interaction, community involvement, emerging music, and public art to motivate. As an event sponsor, <a href="https://healthnewshub.org/?s=backus+hospital" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Backus Hospital</a> had a large presence to promote their services and engage with the local community. <a href="https://healthnewshub.org/?s=backus+hospital" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Backus</a> also provided several opportunities for games with the kids, blood pressure testing, COVID test kits, and a chance to ride the new "<a href="https://healthnewshub.org/community-health-team-norwich-tech-students-create-blender-bike/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">blender bike</a>." Norwich Tech students designed the bike for use by <a href="https://healthnewshub.org/?s=backus+hospital" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Backus</a> in teaching about the benefits of exercise and healthy drinks and snacks.
