School Phones Working In Norwich After Crashing

Norwich school officials said its phone system is working again after crashing at the beginning of the school year, at least for now.

NORWICH, CT - Norwich school officials said its phone system is working again after crashing earlier this school year, the New London Day reported. Despite this, officials also said they still have their concerns.

Officials said they do not believe the 2-year-old phone system has been fixed permanently after crashing at the beginning of the school year, according to the New London Day. Due to this, they plan to apply for a state safety and security grant in order to replace the system. News of the phone system's outage was reported at the Board of Education meeting held last Tuesday, according to the New London Day. The crash left all city schools without service until the issue was fixed.
